Breaking he mould for the rock fans

Klay come to our attention with their new album 'Maps Of Rebellion' and knowing that Lockjaw have a tendency for good quality Brit rock releases meant I already had a slightly heightened sense for anticipation from the Devon rockers. From the off there is a displayed comfort and ease in which Klay operate and they manage to blend a number of common sounds and styles and merge them into something they can call their own.

Shifting from loud to heavy in an instance and from passive to aggressive with a large detour along the melodic route categorizes a sound that at first is hard to put your finger on, other than to note its worth. Standout tracks on the album include album opener 'Victory is a Fish' although each following number is just as entertaining and stimulating as the last, after a tour support with 'Tribute To Nothing' recently completed the band are able to continue to hone their sound even further in the mould of Klay.
