Talks to Rocksnail

We catch up with Keyboardist Chris as he takes some time out to answer Rocksnail's questions

Hey guys if you could just explain who is answering?
This is Chris, I play keyboard

What are you currently doing?
Sitting backstage at our show in Norway waiting to play.

What was the last record that you bought?
The new Mastodon record

What are your three favorite records of all time?
Guns n Roses 'Appetite For Destruction', Jimmy Eat World 'Clarity', and Sigur Ros ()

When you guys are out on tour who gets control of the playlists?
Whoever has the iPod in their hands!

What is the best tour that you guys have ever been on?
The Taste of Chaos international tour was one of my favorites, for sure.

How has touring changed for you with each release and passing year?
It gets harder being away from home with a wife at home and child on the way, but the shows keep getting better. It's amazing!

Are you looking forward to returning to the UK?
Of course! It's always awesome there.

What can the audiences expect from you, any surprises in store?
We are going to try to play some songs that we've never played there before... We will see how that works out!

With the line-up changed so much from the first formation of UnderOath do you guys still get the requests for the earlier works and how do you feel about it when asked?
We do from time to time, but that stuff is so old and so few people ask for it, that it's not that big of a deal. It's great that people enjoy those songs though!

Does the Christian label still have an effect on how you operate on both a personal and professional level?
Well I think as a Christian you just try to be a better dude every day and that carries over to the group, I think.

If you could play on one bill from any period of time which would it be?
Guns n Roses played with Pantera back in the day.. That would be amazing to be a part of.

What will the rest of the year have in store for UnderOath and their fans.
We are doing Warped Tour this summer and then something in the fall, not sure what yet. Tour, tour, tour!
